and picked...

until he had a small crater in the middle of his forehead.

We've been keeping bandaids on his head ever since in a desperate attempt to keep him from picking further.

Nath came home from church one day having learnt to say, "What happened to you?"

Three months later, it seems to have healed up, but he still has a pink spot on his head that he refers to as his 'picking'!
It has become such a part of his life, that when singing the 'tell me what your name is' song at our pre-school group, and it comes Nathan's turn to look into a mirror and call out his name, he cheerfully declares, "Picking!".
By the way, they're not his shoes! He just likes to goof around in his friend Zodi's shoes (whom he affectionately calls Yodi).
